Grown in the lush highlands of Araponga, Minas Gerais, Brigadeiro comes from Sítio Pinheiros, where producer Gilmar Rezende continues a family legacy that began with his father, one of the region’s coffee pioneers. Since 1975, coffee has been a way of life for the Rezende family, and today Gilmar cultivates Red Catuaí 144 at altitudes of 1,200–1,350 meters near the Serra do Brigadeiro State Park — the very landscape that inspired this coffee’s name.
The mountainous terrain demands manual, selective harvesting, ensuring that only the ripest cherries are chosen. Dried naturally on traditional concrete patios, the coffee develops its signature sweetness and silky mouthfeel. The result is a cup that’s smooth, juicy, and delicately balanced, revealing notes of orange blossom and milk chocolate.
A true expression of Brazilian craftsmanship, Brigadeiro is a comforting yet refined coffee — perfect for those who love a cup that combines tradition, softness, and a touch of indulgent sweetness.
